New Chassis Delivery

Good Morning;

I hope all is well; we are currently finishing our 1st new chassis of the year for Kansas with Bobby Labonte. We are going to load the truck tonight and we be at EGR racing 1stthing in the AM to be on their 4 post pull down machine (also a first for us on 2009) EGR is going to assist us with shocks, springs, bump stops, rear sway bar settings and set up info for Kansas (All like is currently being used by the # 42 team with Juan Pablo)!! This car will be by far our best car and we will be racing this car a lot to finish out the season.

In my post race report from NH, I mentioned about a high center of gravity and the car being heavy! This new car will is projected to be approximately 7.1% to 7.5% lighter, which is huge to a COT NASCAR race car!!

Coming off the 4post

Bobby and myself are determined to make a statement in Kansas, as we want to prove to Roush Racing and our other competitors that a little team like TRG and his driving abilities will be successful!!

We won’t get any positive press by S&P in Kansas.

Why are they (EGR) helping TRG your asking I’m sure?

1st off they like what we have done all year on the budget we have and what we have accomplished so far!
They see the value of us assisting them in someway both on and off the track with info and things we learn.  They see the potential of having a former champion assisting them with set ups, etc! Both Bobby and Juan are friends.  They have built us a BRAND NEW CAR at a fairly reduced rate and want us to do well with their product.   They want TRG to be a potential partner in 2010 (engineering, chassis, bodies, etc).
We have been doing a lot during the 2nd half of the season with EGR and they see a lot of value and potential to our little team and have helped us a ton!!

We need to make a decision some time today if we are going to race as we need to plan on travel for both the Thursday and Sunday groups. This will not be as easy as NH was to pull off!!!

Lots of Empty Sponsor Space.....

We have already sent the pit box and our race wheels out to Kansas with Champion as we couldn’t wait any longer to send the equipment out to Kansas as they left last night!

I know it’s tough to raise funds but to me it is very important to get the most out of Bobby in his remaining 5 races with TRG to help us in 2010.
