Pumpelly in NJMS ARCA Race

Today is a new direction for our friend Spencer Pumpelly.  After a few months of practice and some encouraging words from teammate Andy Lally - Spencer is taking on the South Jersey Building Trades 150 at NJ Motorsport’s Thunderbolt Circuit today at 1pm EST.

begin his odessey into the world of NASCAR.    Previously felt to be the intellectual vacation of car racing, NASCAR is proving itself to be the only real money making opportunity for teams and drivers as we experience the continued downturn in the economy.   We see teams like The Racers Group creating efforts to crack into the once un-touchable arena of World Camping, Nationwide & Sprint Cup racing.   TRG Motorsports is looking to organically grow it’s next gen of NASCAR drivers as we can see with Mssrs Lally & Pumpelly’s periodic exposure in the feeder series.

Just back from Grand Am testing at famed Indianoplis, Spencer is looking to keep his skills honed in multiple leagues as he trains himself to overlook the value of doing BOTH left AND right turns in a race.    We’ll be looking to share live commentary via Twitter and Facebook today as we get it from his spotters.
